A great book about anagrams, words that scramble the letters to become another word. Poor Ned is petrified because he has already taken everything for show-and-tell that there is to take. So he duct tapes together some items out of his closet and when he points it at the shoe, it changes to a hose and the lamp becomes a palm. Aunt becomes a tuna, and the cat acts, Cathy is a yacht, Gary turns gray, the peas turn to apes and the limes smile. The story goes on and on like this in this extremely engaging book. The boys and teachers are especially drawn to this book by one of the writer/ producers for the Simpsons.
